Well all the factories they make cookies in pollute the air .Also sending them in packages in truck pollutes the air with the gas. You dont ever where the cookies come from and how it affects the enviorment well the reason is pollution.

How cookies affect enviorment
Posted by Fun with Cookies at 10:29 AM 0 comments
Omq I didnt know that !! BY:Fatumata Tunkara
Cookie can effect the enviorment because of all the pollution they use. And also the wrappers they rap the cookies with are not recycled wrappers. All those wrappers people throw out go to waste and end up in the dump. Instead of them doing that I suggest they make recycled papers.

transportation for cookies
To make a cookie you need the cookie dough eggs, even things you are going to threw in. Such as chocolate chip marshmallows pin apple maybe even more . . . Let's stick with the example of eggs. Well where do you get the eggs from, you get them from a farm and in that farm there is a chicken that lays eggs so with that egg they use to make eggs. But people usually go to the supermarket and buy the eggs, know how did it get to the supermarket ?
So when the chicken lays the egg they produce it to a box, they ship it and put all the eggs into the big truck or boat so they can take them eggs to the supermarket. That's a lot of work, also think about all of the gas and pollution so of corse cookies have to do with science.

What in the world did i just eat -_-
Why every time i go into this bodega around my casa the cookies look so good mmmmm ?
well looks might fool you. The cookies in a bodega are hard, cant forget about the chocolate chip in the inside of the cookie, that THING tast like cardboard. Have you ever took a sip of the breakfast juice when it sometimes tast like cardboard, well yea thats how in the corner bodega cookies tast like. Even in Mc.D's how would you ever know if the people making the cookie didn't even wash there hands. You would be eating a cookie thats not good and that has so many bacteria, YUUUCK this is why home made cookies are the best cookies :)
Big cookie , i made the way i wanted :) |

Science and Cookies... huh???
Do those things even connect? Well yes they do. The effect might not be big, but cookies do have a positive impact on the environment. When people eat cookies, it makes them happy, leading them to doing good things. If theres anyone to blame for the damage being done to our planet it should be us. We consume too much energy. We burn fossil fuels everyday to start our cars or by using public transportation, leading to climate change and many other damages. Cookies, on the other hand, can change all of this. If we give a cookie to someone every time they do something positive to the environment we can make this world a better place. We can also start baking cookies with more organic and renewable resources instead of finite resources. All we have to do is believe... =) - Giselle Aponte

Worst Place?
Cookies+worst Place=Cookies from the grocery store! Why do I say this because, sometimes when you go to the bodega to get cookies, some stores may have the same cookies until there expired. Also sometimes the cookies are so crushed there is no point in eating them, doesn't take a genius to figure that out=p

not a good idea
The worst place to get cookies can be from various places such as a corner store.
The reason for that is because at the corner store sometimes the cookies look as though
a car ran over them or someone just stomped on them with all their might.
Also a not so good
place to get cookies is from certain Korean restaurants, even thought the name or the look may
interest you but once you taste it your thoughts for cookies is going to change. Another place that
is not so good to get cookies from is MC.Donald's and the reason for that is because the cookies
are so hard and stale, they are sometimes hard as a brick.

Home Made Cookie x3
The best place to eat cookies is at your home. Some of you are saying right now oh i don't bake cookies but if you try you will achieve your goal. You buy the cookie dough and then you make your own cookies. Home made cookies is the best cookies. When I went to my best friend house one day we made the best cookies ever because we made the cookies the way we wanted to.That was my first day baking cookies but it was the best cookies i ever tasted. So if you want to add something in your cookie such as chocolate chip or maybe even marshmallows then you can add them. Finally when you done then put the cookies in the oven and have them bake :) Enjoy

Ive never been a big fan of cookies until one day... tun tun tun!!! I enter McDonalds at 11:16am on a Thursday and ordered an oatmeal cookie. Oh my goodness, it was like taking a bite out of heaven. It was the best oatmeal cookie Ive ever tasted. I wouldn't tell all my cookie lovers to get there cookies at McDonalds but I will definitely tell the you the best places to find cookies are in places where cookie are a specialty. May I suggest the Pop-tart store, Godiva Chocolatier, Eleni's in Manhattan, bakeries, coffee shops.... and so on. Just make sure that place takes you to heaven just like McDonaldS did with me and that Oatmeal cookies. - Gizell Aponte

Cookie Experience ;)
Well, this weekend Ive been really excited about the Freshman potluck for thanksgiving. Of course I volunteered to bring in some homemade sugar cookies to represent the crew. I tried to practice this weekend before the actual thing and let me tell you I am quite impressed with myself. The cookies were amazing, especially how the creamy frosting goes perfectly with the sugar cookie. They were to die for. I recommend them for thanksgiving and christmas. Just go to your local supermarket and find the Pillsberry sugar cookie dough. Recipe is right on the back. - Gizel Aponte

History
During the early part of the 18th century North Americans began to use the word "cookie" to define a small, sweet, flat or slightly confection. The word "cookie" appears to come from the Dutch word "koekje or koekie" and refers to a small cake. Alan Davidson in The Oxford Companion to Food states that "cookies were originally associated with New Year's Day..... references from the early part of the 19th century show that cookies and cherry bounce A cherry cordial) were the correct fare with which to greet visitors on that occasion.
Cookies are now eaten any time of the day, coffee breaks, as a snack, for dessert and even given as a welcoming gift.
